US Soccer Girls Development Academy

The US Soccer Girls Development Academy (GDA) was founded in 2016 to "accelerate the development of world-class female players" - US Soccer. The new program will begin play in Fall 2017 and will "focus on positively impacting everyday club environments to maximize elite female youth player development" - US Soccer.

NC Courage GDA

NC Courage GDA was one of the first 25 teams admitted to the GDA in June 2016. At that time, NC Courage GDA was known as CASL or Capital Area RailHawks Academy, but since the move of the NWSL team to Raleigh, the academy will continue to use and operate as "NC Courage GDA" to represent the connection between the professional and academy teams.
